Hedgerow Maintenance - Club Closure

Please be aware that the club has hired a certified arborist to partner with the Grounds Committee on the clean up of our overgrown hedgerows. Heavy duty machinery will be used for the removal of unwanted undergrowth.

  • The contractor has been retained for 5-7 working days.

  • During the active time they are working the club will be closed for insurance purposes.

  • The contractor does not work on weekends so the club will be open.

  • We will send another communication as the project gets closer to starting. It could be as early as Thursday of this week or beginning next week.

Bowhunting Rule Update

Effective immediately no bowhunting from the ground or ground blinds are permitted. All bowhunting must be done out of a treestand. A concern of arrow trajectory was discussed and this is the first safety change. Please note that the board is still in further discussions about this topic. We encourage you to talk with the officers and board members and share your feedback on the topic.

Johnny House Quail

All 4 of our johnny houses are still active with quail. With the cooler weather it is a great time to enjoy them and get some training in!

Bridge is Fixed!

Thank you to Frank Luksa, Wayne Horner and Tom Gille our Caretaker! The team cared for the repair of the closed bridge on the far side of the breakaway field. They had the time and good weather, so they got it done!! Thanks men.

If you would like to volunteer on something you see that needs to be fixed or cared for please talk with Tom. Good help is always appreciated.
