CAP or No CAP for a truck for dogs

Recently it has been brought up amongst friends, CAP or NO CAP on a pick up for our dogs?

Many say no cap as this way the truck gets used as a pick up and not just a dedicated dog vehicle. Get a good dog box and they stay cool but be mindful of air flow and temps. Use totes for training equipment as no need to have everything all the time. In the winter just pack it with cedar shavings or hay.

CAP - use a trailer for the truck. Keep drawers in the truck with all the training equipment. Fans for the dogs and they will remain in the shade from the cap. Just leave the windows open and the fans on. In the winter much warmer for the dogs.

Well, what say you?
