DOG TRAINING AND HUNTING RULES


1. Members may train their dogs on the ESCA grounds at all times except when a field trial is in progress, during the December deer shotgun season or when the grounds are closed by the order of the board of directors.

2. Members who are professional trainers are not permitted to train dogs on weekends. These professionals may however, train with an owner who is a club member and they may only train the member's dogs, guests are not allowed.

3. Members are encouraged to keep un-broke dogs on a check cord.

4. Individual guests will be allowed three (3) times in a calender year, but must be accompanied by a member.

5. Small game, EXCEPT QUAIL, may be hunted by members on the ESCA grounds during the regular hunting season and during the regular hunting hours. Members wishing to hunt on weekends are limited to the breakaway field from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. only. A valid NJ state hunting license is required. In addition, a special license is required to hunt the state game lands adjacent to the club. Rifle slugs (shotgun) and rifles are allowed during the New Jersey shotgun season only, the club will be closed to dog training during this week. This rule is subject to change at any time.

6. Guests are not permitted during deer season.

7. Under no circumstances are members allowed to hunt on the Frohn Farm and other land adjacent to the ESCA grounds.

8. Under no circumstances are rifles allowed to be discharged on the ESCA grounds. No target shooting or sighting of weapons on the ESCA grounds.

9. The use of ATV's is limited to dog training and hunting activities, please refrain from recreational use.

ANY VIOLATIONS OF ANY OF THESE RULES WILL BE DEALT WITH BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

1. No parking on the front lawn
2. No hunting or training during field trials
3. No killing hawks
4. Obey the 5 MPH Speed Limit
5. All Clubs using the club grounds for their trials must order birds from Bill Trace (610) 689-5388.
