Gary Miller gave an opening statement on who he is , what got him into dogs and what his goal is for this year as the president.
Corresponding secretary - no report
Treeasurers report: - Approved by board.
Insurance:- Gary stated that our insurance was up to date and that since he was president now he was going to have Debby handle the insurance.
Investments: - no report
Grounds:- Joe and ED said that the grounds have been mowed, and feed strips put in. We need to set up time to finish fence down by swamp area. It will take a couple of days to do and we will need to get more fence. We are going to hold off until our finances are in better shape.
Roof on barn has been painted.
Driveway is in good shape with material supplied by township.
Field Trials:- Joe Lordi stated he is working on judges.
Unfinished business:
Land Project:- We are waiting on appraisors to come out in next couple of weeks and then meet with our appraisor and we should get an offer then.
Hunter stated he was at a meeting and we went down to 21 lots but these were bigger lots and should be good.
Mike stated he would get a total figure on what we had spent so far.
Ed Kerr read a thank you letter from the Quail project event that was held here in June.
We had a quail release on July 5th and we closed the club for a week to give birds a chance to get used to grounds and try and get them to covey.
Joe Lordi made a very good effort in notifying the members that the club would be closed. We had a discussion on when and how to do this next year.
Motion made by Joe Luisi and seconded by Ed Kerr to release another 100 birds in August. They will be put in call pens and kept locked for a week and then release half out into regular call pen and keep recall birds locked. Joe, Brian, and Ed will handle birds.
Approved by board
Motion made by Paul to rescind rule to buy birds from Trace only. We will buy from best source, so we get good healthy birds. 2nd by Joe Luisi and approved by board.
Fund drive held last week was a huge success and it was approved to hold again next year the 3rd Sat in July
Waste Mgmt. is putting in a bigger dumpster and changing day of pickup from Wed to Monday.
Board approved 4h club approval to use clubhouse for meeting.
Joe Lordi will work with someone who said they would set up a info board on our web site
We received an email with a question about refunding dues if a member passed away. This was discussed and the board decided not to start this policy.

Debby brought up about trailers being parked here for prolonged periods hooked up to electricity etc. The board decided to contact Public Service and see what the cost would be to install a separate meter and will discuss at a later board meeting
Debby brought up the question of the shed for the quads and the board decided to table this until the land purchase gets done and then revisit.
